Ella Scrapbooking Bootcamp - Connective Journaling
This was hard. This is an uncomfortable story for me to tell. But this is something I want my kids to know. To not assume you know what you know. To be loving and accepting. Just like their Grandma. As Angie Lucas talked about connecting one experience to another, I knew this was the story I wanted to tell in a layout.
Thanks for joining me at the Table today.

Beautiful journaling. Your perfectly captured that moment's insight.
ReplyDeleteRebecca, you just made me tear up a little. I definitely think that's a story worth saving, even though it hurts. Way to be brave! It reminds me of a quote I love: “A man should never be ashamed to own he has been in the wrong, . . . in other words, that he is wiser today than he was yesterday.”—Jonathan Swift (Although I don't think you were "wrong"--it's an understandable reaction.)
