Hello and an Announcement...

Hello!

I'm back today with another Stampin' Up! project.  This is one of the cards that we did at our last Stamp Club:

I know.  This is kind of a terrible picture.  The photo just doesn't do this card justice.  But anyway, we did a faux letterpress technique that is one of my favorite techniques.  I love the colors and dimension on this cheerful card.  I think the ladies had a great time learning something new!

And now for the announcement.....

Have you ever seen one of these?

This is an Envelope Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers.  It can make envelopes in about 60 different sizes.  I've made a few and it's so easy and quick to use.  I just love it!

Well, I recently found out that We R is going to be making these Envelope Punch Boards for Stampin' Up!

photo from the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Website
These will be available to order September 1, 2013.  Woo Hoo!!

But if you don't want to wait that long, purchase a Starter Kit and you can order the Punch Board now! Demonstrators always get a chance to pre-order fun products like this PLUS, you get 20% off!

Let me know if you're interested in purchasing the Starter Kit.  I can help get you started (note:  purchasing the Starter Kit does not obligate you to be a Demonstrator.)

I hope you enjoyed your visit. :)

Thanks for stopping by the Table today!

Sing a Rainbow

Hello!

I am going to share a craft project with you but first I have to tell you a story.

When I was little, my sister and I shared a bedroom.  Several nights a week, my mom would come in our room and sing us songs to help us relax and fall asleep.  One of those songs was The Rainbow Song.  You know the one that goes,

"red and yellow and pink and green, purple and orange and blue.  I can sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow too.  Listen with your eyes, listen with your eyes and sing everything you see.  You can sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow, sing along with me...."

When my sister and I grew a little older, she moved into the room next door.  Still our mom would sing to us, but now she would sit in the hall between our two rooms and sing several songs.

Fast forward to be being a mom and my kids going to grandma's house to either be tended or just having sleepovers.  She would sing those same songs to get my kids to fall asleep, one of them being, of course, The Rainbow Song.

So, my daughter made a fun craft with her friend not too long ago.  I'll show you in a minute, but it was the craft you have probably seen on Pinterest where you glue crayons to the top of a canvas and then use a heat tool to get the colored wax to melt down the canvas.

There was quite a bit of white space at the bottom of the finished piece and she had mulled over several different quotes she wanted me to put on it.

Just before she left on her mission, she told me the quote that she thought would be perfect and asked if I would put it on for her.

Here is the result:

I love how it turned out, and it reminds her of her grandma. :)

Thanks for joining me at the Table today!

It's Storytime!

Hello!

I'm popping in here today to share a quick card I made using the Storytime Collection from We R Memory Keepers.  Nothing too complicated here, just covered the front of my card base with that cute cloud paper.  Then I punched a bunch of flowers from the different patterned papers and card stocks.

I made the stem from some card stock and Chevron Washi Tape, then added a couple of strips of the Washi Tape at the bottom, trimming off the lower half just to show a different look to the Chevron Washi.

For the sentiment, I just grabbed the glitter alphas from the collection.  And done!

Thanks for joining me at the Table today!

SUPPLIES:

All supplies from WRMK

Patterned paper, chipboard alpha stickers, card stock from the Storytime collection

Other embellishments:  Chevron Washi tape
